Bred Heifers
The 2025 heifers are looking slick! We have two separate herds this year. One is commercial black angus stock and will be bred to polled and black Limflex and purebred Limousine bulls
The other herd will be Simangus heifers and bred to a nice Simangus bull.
The bulls have been raised with temperment and birth weight in mind for breeding heifers. And they are gentle boys. They were purchased from local breeders that have worked hard to get the best genetics there is into their bulls.
The girls are being spoiled and handfed and called to the bunks for snacks. We don’t like getting ran over by cows, so we raise and sell only gentle cows.
These heifers have been vaccinated and dewormed to ensure healthy mommas and calves. They will be preg checked this fall and be ready to sell in third period sometime late fall.
